Lisa's first solo trip was a vacation to Hawaii, booked in her twenties on a leap of faith. One trip became a lifelong curiosity that has carried her to more than one hundred countries across six continents. For over two decades she also held senior human resources and organizational leadership roles, and both lives taught her the same thing: wherever we go, people and the connections we make are what matter.

Lisa served in senior leadership roles at Arcadis, DC Water, Freddie Mac, AOL Time Warner and HSBC. Travel has taken her from learning to cook in Sri Lanka and drinking horse's milk in Kazakhstan to scuba diving in the Red Sea, with unexpected friendships, cultural surprises, plenty of humor and more than a few moments that asked for courage she didn't know she had.

Those experiences became Coming Home Changed: part travel memoir, part practical guide, and an invitation to travel smarter, safer and with more confidence. Today Lisa is the founder of Stone Collective, LLC.
